I remember playing D&D a long time ago and we were having a hell of a time in this module. We were ascending the Ghost Tower of Inverness, all the while getting our asses kicked. I was one of the last members of our party alive when I fell into a pit of water. My armour was so heavy, I couldn’t swim and drowned. For some reason, my horse was with me and lucky enough to escape. He made it to the final room and was able to throw the switch that ended the mission in success. True story! Dumb mmmn
An heretical work in terms of its break from conformity. There is harsh temperament at core, while the outer atmosphere is intricate, even delicate. Soft chants complete the effect. Very interesting; kind of a teleporting effect. Reminded of watching, Lost in Space on the black and white as a kid. Not sure why, just a similar feeling. This is an imaginative work. Jeff Richardson
Rundagard is legitimately a great example of 90's worship done right. The mix of raw yet listenable recordings, violent vocals and an infusion of synths and preludes make this album a perfect display of why Black Metal is best to be left in the underground! Majestic performance! Gabriel Tamas
The metal’s band revelatory new record crosses genres and styles, effortlessly combining seemingly incompatible subgenres. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2024
This album separates mere foolish wannabes and trendsetters from classics and immortals. It is the pinnacle of finding its unique sound in a proven plethora of genres and recipes. A dose of well-tempered and melancholic BM subjected to a right dosage of reverberation. Brilliant drumming, exquisite staccato guitar riffs. Bravo messieurs. Deadpanist
